Michael Echols
Michael Echols has worked in the Healthcare, Financial Services and Wealth Management Industry for over a decade. He works to educate and grow the community through education and outreach. Echols has hosted a weekly talk radio shows for nearly a decade on topics including Financial planning, Asset Management, Secondary Education and Healthcare.
He has also worked in a Cabinet level position at the University of Louisiana at Monroe as the AVP of Marketing and Communications for 3 years, he worked as the chief operating officer for a regional wealth management firm, and has owned his own business consulting firm for over 10 years.
Echols received a bachelor's and a master's degree from the University of Louisiana at Monroe. He is a registered financial consultant, a certified divorce financial analyst, and has held several other professional licenses.
He participates in numerous civic organizations and professional organizations, including the LABI (Louisiana Association of Business and Industry) Health Care Task Force, Louisiana State Arts Council (appointed by Governor Bobby Jindal), the Louisiana Trust for Historic Preservation, the Northeast Louisiana Arts Council, the Twin City Art Foundation, the National Education Foundation, the Garden District Neighborhood Alliance, the Monroe Kiwanis Club, the Center for Children and Families, and many others. He is a Leadership Louisiana Graduate and the Commissioner of the Heritage Preservation for the City of Monroe.
Echols has extensive experience in leading organizations and advising in the areas of marketing, public relations, systemization, planning, and organizational management.
